Modern Slavery Act

Modern Day Slavery Act (2015) - 2021 Statement

Moixa has a strong commitment to being a responsible business and taking a robust approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made pursuant to s.54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and relates to action taken during the current year, setting out the steps that Moixa has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Moixa has a zero tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.

We are committed to providing the necessary training to our employees to ensure their understanding of the risks of human trafficking and modern slavery. Moixa has Modern Day Slavery, Whistleblowing, Code of Conduct and Bullying & Harassment policies in place, setting out our stance on, and necessary steps to promote ethical practices throughout the company.

We encourage all our employees, customers and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, the organisation. This includes circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.

We will not deal with any company involved or associated with modern slavery or human trafficking. As part of our due diligence process into modern slavery and human trafficking, our modern day slavery policy will form part of our contract with all suppliers and they will be required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.

We will periodically review the effectiveness of the steps we are taking to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains. Our aim is to monitor and, where necessary, to improve our policies, procedures and systems.
