Set to open in 2027, Voyager Class will be the first-ever space hotel. Orbital Assembly Corporation is the group behind the idea, announcing that contraction on the project will begin in 2025.
Composed of two concentric rings; one for docking and one serving as the backbone of the structure, the hotel will accommodate up to 400 guests. The team working on the project plans to make the amenities and comforts similar to those found in traditional luxury hotels on Earth. There will be bars, restaurants, a cinema, a spa and even a gym.
Talk about getting away from it all.
