Designed by Carlo Ratti Associati for tech company Scribit, this pen is eco-friendly addresses the issue of plastic pollution.
Available in wood, bioplastic, and anodized aluminium, this compostable marker pen has a natural fibre replicable ink cartridge and nib, designed for repeated use. It also has a water-based, non-toxic edible ink that breaks down within six months.
Currently, the marker pen is only a concept and is in its development stage. Scribit is working towards a final product that would be 100 per cent compostable
